Smokers can stop smoking without wrestling with cravings. Most smokers become allergic to the nicotine and smoke from the cigarette. This means that the body is over-sensitive to the smoke. When someone tries to smoke for the very first time, there is a natural resistance to the inhalation of the smoke. The body tries to expel the harmful smoke and choking and coughing becomes the normal response. Smokers have learned to over-ride this natural reflex and crave the smoke and nicotine instead. With N.A.E.T., the body’s natural response to smoke is restored as the allergic response is removed. Smokers may remember how pleasurable smoking was for them, but they will not have the physical cravings.
In order to permit this treatment to work the prospective non-smoker will need to be evaluated for all allergies. Dr. Crandall will desensitize the patient to the basic allergens including: eggs, dairy, vitamins C & B, sugars, minerals & grains, for example. Many of these food sensitivities (which may not even produce classic allergy symptoms) are what make addiction to cigarettes worse. Many patients report a significant reduction in their cravings after clearing allergies to Calcium and sugar. This protocol is necessary to help smokers or anyone with acute allergies, food related or environmental, have the most successful outcomes.
When Dr. Crandall treats a patient for smoke and nicotine, one treatment is normally all that is required.
