WHAT IS N.A.E.T.

Q: Will my insurance cover this kind of treatment?

A: Some insurance plans pay for acupuncture under restricted circumstances, and may cover this procedure, but at this point, 95% of our patients have no coverage available.

Q: How long does it take to do a treatment?

A: Average treatment time varies according to the need to do retesting and evaluation on a visit-to-visit basis. Generally, an allergy elimination treatment will take a minimum of 25-30 minutes and up to 1 hour.

Q: How many treatments does it take to get better?

A: This depends upon how many separate allergens are affecting a given patient. Some allergies are essential to the main complaint a patient has, and some may be minor. On average, most patients require 10-15 treatments to handle the average complaints. This increases for those who are severely affected by allergies, such as in anaphylactic situations.

Q: If this treatment is based on acupuncture, does that mean needles are used?

A: No. This treatment’s effectiveness is not at all dependent on the use of needles.
