F.A.Q. > Questions about NAET > How many treatments does it take to bet better?
Thjis answer is based on an exam of how many allergies you have. For example, turning off the response to dairy in the meridian system may take only one treatment, stopping a condition such as acid reflux requires multiple allergies to be treated. Acid reflux can be caused by 5-8 allergies or many more, depending upon the person.
I will endeavor to show you what your general allergies are on your first exam at my office and give you an explanation as to how these allergies cause your symptoms. I may not be able to detect all the allergic causes of your chief complaint on the first visit, so predicting exactly how many treatments you may need is not possible.
In general, mild symptoms resolve with less care, averaging 10-15 visits, while moderate symptoms can require 15-25 visits. Severe conditions, such as Celiacs, multiple chemical sensitivity, Autism, etc, will require a much longer process.
