Skin deep reactions are serious:
- Eczema
- Hives
- Rashes
- Psoriasis
Skin is the largest organ in your body, and allergic misery throughout the body is hard to miss when it affects the skin. The basic treatment protocol in NAET ensures that basic food allergies are treated thoroughly. Food reactions are among the most common causes of the conditions listed above. However, the list of substances that causes skin reaction is long:
- Food
- Food flavors, preservatives, colors, additives
- Fabrics
- Detergents
- Household cleaners, chemicals
- Latex, rubber
- Spring/Summer/Fall allergens
- One's own hormones and organs
The good news is, these conditions all respond well to allergy elimination:

I brought my daughter to Dr. John Crandall when she was 10 months old and covered with weeping eczema. I had never heard of NAET until her primary physician casually mentioned it to me. He had a colleague that told him that it helped his son and since he was at a loss as to how to help my daughter, he figured why not try it. My daughter not only suffered with severe eczema but also had severe digestive issues and wasn't growing but actually losing weight. I found Dr. Crandall via his website and decided to make an appointment. When Dr. Crandall saw my daughter, he was quite shocked at how bad a condition she was in. After witnessing the first treatment, I was very skeptical. Although I'm a huge believer in alternative medicine, it seemed too simple to be able to help improve my daughter's critical situation. My wife and I didn't return for follow up treatments for nearly a year. During this time, I sought out many different doctors desperately trying to help my daughter. One GI doctor prescribed oral steroids for her and although I didn't want to give them to her, I didn't know what else to do. My wife and I had tried everything 'natural' to help her and nothing was working. The steroids actually cleared up her eczema and helped her to gain weight. We felt we had our lives back but wondered what was the next step. We knew that the steriods were a temporary fix and would damage her health over time, she also looked swollen on them and this adversely affected her appearance. Another GI doctor eventually said that we had to wean her off of the steroids since she was on them way too long. I knew the symptoms would return and finally made a decision to give NAET another try. We decided to resume NAET treatments and we're glad we did. After several treatments, we started lowering her steroid dose. We noticed that her symptoms weren't returning as they did when we attempted to wean her off prior to the NAET treatments. As we continued with the treatments we were eventually able to stop the steroids altogether. Today, she is doing much better and has started pre-school. She is a 'work in progress' and we will continue to see Dr. Crandall as I truly believe that NAET is the 'missing link' in resolving chronic health issues.
